All Vinyl Dj - Bend, Oregon

I began DJing at University of Oregon for local bars and sorority parties. After that, I moved to Los Angeles, where the hip hop scene was really taking off. I Dj’d weekly at the iconic Boardners in Hollywood, as well as LA house parties and a few industry parties. Later I moved to Portland and Dj’d at East Chinatown Lounge. But my longest run was O’Reilly’s Irish Pub and Chief Sullivans in North Beach San Francisco, where we spun music from all genres Friday and Saturday nights.

Living in different cities has helped shape my vinyl collection over the years. I love all types of songs and music, and I prefer sticking with vinyl, rather than digital. I think it’s more interesting to see someone pull out a record, bend it if it’s warped, find the tack, cue the needle and beat match the song…rather than scrolling on a computer screen. Plus, it’s fun for the clientele to browse through the records and select something physical.
